About this business

I’m Emma, and I’m a wedding stationery designer, illustrator and artist based in Brierfield in Lancashire.  Married to Chris and mum to 5 year old Alfie and 2 year old Tommy.  I ventured into the world of designing wedding invites following our wedding in October 2017.

I love working closely with all of my couples to create wedding invites that are personal, totally unique and with an illustrative quality.  Invites that tell your story; how you met, the things you love to do and the type of day your guests can expect from your wedding.

I’m originally from Scotland, from a town just outside of Edinburgh.  Incidentally, ‘alba’ comes from a Gaelic term meaning ‘Scotland forever’, so as a Scottish ex-pat residing in England, I liked the reference to home when it came to deciding on a business name.  The ‘alf’ part was named after my eldest son, Alfie.
