About this business

Hi, my name is Harriet. I am a level 4 Beauty Therapist, Level 3 Hairdresser, Educator and I am an Award Winning Bridal HairStylist.

Firstly I bet you are wondering why i chose the name “GlitterBugz” as a name for a hair and beauty business? Well, I used to dabble in face painting in the early stages of my career and a friend of mine suggested the name, I instantly loved it! I then went onto expanding my business and felt a pang of guilt about choosing another name, I then thought why should I? A quirky, out there name for a quirky woman! And that is how my little “Bugz” was born.

Since starting my business I have only gotten more and more passionate about pampering people and making them feel happy and uplifted with every appointment we have together. My passion is Hair Up Styling, whether it is for brides, proms or photoshoots nothing makes me happier than creating a beautiful style for my client.

I am a calm, friendly woman who does love to chat and catch up with everyone, however I also understands that sometimes when your being pampered you would just like to switch off and enjoy your appointment silently.
